Materials and Processes

The chemistry of a material formulation greatly affects the dispensing machine design. Additives such as fillers, catalysts and solvents are common components of the final polymer formulation and further influence the final machine. Graco distributors know how to configure a dispensing machine right from the start, taking in all the characteristics of most any material formulation. Once the machine is correctly configured, we can then optimize a process that delivers the single or plural component material exactly as it needs to be.

Typical chemistries and formulations we have standard solutions for include:

  • Thermal compounds
  • Liquid injection, fluoropolymers
  • Release coatings
  • Optically clear polymers
  • Gels
  • Filled RT cure potting compounds, mold making silicones, primerless adhesives and sealants, caulks, conductive compounds, and platinum catalysts

  • Amine cure
  • Anhydride, heat cure
  • Thermally conductive
  • Low-cost filled potting materials
  • High-purity optical encapsulants
  • Silver-filled conductive, UV cure, and lightweight syntactics

  • Adhesives
  • Flexible foams and elastomers
  • Rigid foams and elastomers
  • Optically clear elastomers
  • Filled polyols
  • UV cure elastomers
  • Polyester prepolymers, polyether prepolymers, solid curatives, spray elastomers, and insulation foam

  • Filled resin
  • UV cure
  • Fast cure adhesives
